एकैकशश च तान विप्रान निवेद्य वृषपर्वणे नयासभूतान यथाकालं बन्धून इव सुसत्कृतान ॥ ३-१५५-२१ ॥
'Having introduced each of the Brahmanas to Vrishaparva, the Pandavas, after duly honoring them, left them in his care as trusted companions.' ॥ 3-155-21 ॥

ekaikazaza ca tAna viprAna nivedya vRSaparvaNe nayAsabhUtAna yathAkAlaM bandhUna iva susatkRtAna ॥ 3-155-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस ते वरवस्त्राणि शुभान्य आभरणानि च नयदधुः पाण्डवास तस्मिन्न आश्रमे वृषपर्वणः ॥ ३-१५५-२२ ॥
'Having entrusted the high-souled Vrishaparva with their remaining robes, the sons of Pandu, O King, left their sacrificial vessels, along with ornaments and jewels, in the hermitage of Vrishaparva.' ॥ 3-155-22 ॥

tatasa te varavastrANi zubhAnya AbharaNAni ca nayadadhuH pANDavAsa tasminna Azrame vRSaparvaNaH ॥ 3-155-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतीतानागते विद्वान कुशलः सर्वधर्मवित अन्वशासत स धर्मज्ञः पुत्रवद भरतर्षभान ॥ ३-१५५-२३ ॥
'Wise, pious, and well-versed in every duty, with knowledge of both the past and the future, he gave instructions to those best of the Bharatas as a father would to his own sons.' ॥ 3-155-23 ॥

atItAnAgate vidvAna kuzalaH sarvadharmavita anvazAsata sa dharmajJaH putravada bharatarSabhAna ॥ 3-155-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptते ऽनुज्ञाता महात्मानः परययुर दिशम उत्तराम कृष्णया सहिता वीरा बराह्मणैश च महात्मभिः तान परस्थितान अन्वगच्छद वृषपर्वा महीपतिः ॥ ३-१५५-२४ ॥
'Those great-souled beings, having been permitted, proceeded towards the northern direction, Krishna accompanying them, along with the heroic and noble Brahmins. The king Vrisha-parva followed them as they set out.' ॥ 3-155-24 ॥

te 'nujJAtA mahAtmAnaH parayayura dizama uttarAma kRSNayA sahitA vIrA barAhmaNaiza ca mahAtmabhiH tAna parasthitAna anvagacchada vRSaparvA mahIpatiH ॥ 3-155-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपन्यस्य महातेजा विप्रेभ्यः पाण्डवांस तदा अनुसंसाध्य कौन्तेयान आशीर्भिर अभिनन्द्य च वृषपर्वा निववृते पन्थानम उपदिश्य च ॥ ३-१५५-२५ ॥
'Then, having entrusted the Pandavas to the care of the Brahmanas, given them instructions, blessings, and guidance for their journey, Vrishaparva, full of mighty energy, turned back and retraced his steps.' ॥ 3-155-25 ॥

upanyasya mahAtejA viprebhyaH pANDavAMsa tadA anusaMsAdhya kaunteyAna AzIrbhira abhinandya ca vRSaparvA nivavRte panthAnama upadizya ca ॥ 3-155-25 ॥
