मत्तकारण्डव युतां चक्रवाकॊपशॊभिताम रचिताम इव तस्याद्रेर मालां विमलपङ्कजाम ॥ ३-१५०-२६ ॥
'Crowded with swans and Karandavas, and graced by Chakravakas, the river resembled a garland of fresh lotuses draped by the mountain.' ॥ 3-150-26 ॥
english translation
तस्यां नद्यां महासत्त्वः सौगन्धिक वनं महत अपश्यत परीतिजननं बालार्कसदृशद्युति ॥ ३-१५०-२७ ॥
'In that river, the mighty one discovered a vast gathering of Saugandhika lotuses, radiant like the rising sun and a delight to behold.' ॥ 3-150-27 ॥

तद दृष्ट्वा लब्धकामः स मनसा पाण्डुनन्दनः वनवास परिक्लिष्टां जगाम मनसा परियाम ॥ ३-१५०-२८ ॥
'Upon seeing it, the son of Pandu thought to himself that his goal had been achieved, and, in his mind, he presented himself before his beloved, weary from her life in exile.' ॥ 3-150-28 ॥
