पन्या करवनिज्याभिः कृष्याथॊ यॊनिपॊषणैः वार्तया धार्यते सर्वं धर्मैर एतैर दविजातिभिः ॥ ३-१४९-३० ॥

sanskrit

'Through trade, agriculture, and the nurturing of living beings, the world is sustained. All of this is upheld by the righteous conduct of the twice-born (Brahmins), who follow these duties.' ।। 3-149-30 ।।

english translation

panyA karavanijyAbhiH kRSyAthò yònipòSaNaiH vArtayA dhAryate sarvaM dharmaira etaira davijAtibhiH ॥ 3-149-30 ॥
