वेदाचार विधानॊक्तैर यज्ञैर धार्यन्ति देवताः बृहस्पत्युशनॊक्तैश च नयैर धार्यन्ति मानवाः ॥ ३-१४९-२९ ॥
'The gods are sustained by the sacrifices prescribed in the Vedas and religious ordinances, while humans are sustained by following the ordinances of Brihaspati and Usanas.' ॥ 3-149-29 ॥
