बलिहॊमार्चितं दिव्यं सुसंमृष्टानुलेपनम दिव्यपुष्पॊपहारैश च सर्वतॊ ऽभिविराजितम ।। ३-१४५-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'Divine, worshipped with offerings and oblations, well-swept and anointed, And adorned all around with divine flowers and offerings.' ।। 3-145-26 ।।

english translation

balihòmArcitaM divyaM susaMmRSTAnulepanama divyapuSpòpahAraiza ca sarvatò 'bhivirAjitama || 3-145-26 ||

hk transliteration

विशालैर अग्निशरणैः सरुग भान्दैर आचितं शुभैः महद्भिस तॊयकलशैः कथिनैश चॊपशॊभितम शरण्यं सर्वभूतानां बरह्मघॊषनिनादितम ।। ३-१४५-२७ ।।

sanskrit

'It was adorned with altars of sacrificial fire, sacred ladles, and pots; graced with large water jars and baskets, serving as a refuge for all beings. The air echoed with the chanting of the Vedas, and it radiated a heavenly aura, fit to be inhabited.' ।। 3-145-27 ।।

english translation

vizAlaira agnizaraNaiH saruga bhAndaira AcitaM zubhaiH mahadbhisa tòyakalazaiH kathinaiza còpazòbhitama zaraNyaM sarvabhUtAnAM barahmaghòSaninAditama || 3-145-27 ||

hk transliteration

दिव्यम आश्रयणीयं तम आश्रमं शरमनाशनम शरिया युतम अनिर्देश्यं देव चर्यॊपशॊभितम ।। ३-१४५-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'It was a place that dispelled fatigue, attended with divine splendor and immeasurable merit, majestic with celestial qualities. It was adorned with celestial service, making it truly radiant.' ।। 3-145-28 ।।

english translation

divyama AzrayaNIyaM tama AzramaM zaramanAzanama zariyA yutama anirdezyaM deva caryòpazòbhitama || 3-145-28 ||

फलमूलाशनैर दान्तैश चीरकृष्णाजिनाम्बरैः सूर्यवैश्वानर समैस तपसा भावितात्मभिः ।। ३-१४५-२९ ।।

sanskrit

'The hermitage was inhabited by a host of great sages, living on fruits and roots, their senses perfectly controlled, clad in black deer-skins, and radiant like the Sun and Agni themselves.' ।। 3-145-29 ।।

phalamUlAzanaira dAntaiza cIrakRSNAjinAmbaraiH sUryavaizvAnara samaisa tapasA bhAvitAtmabhiH || 3-145-29 ||

महर्षिभिर मॊक्षपरैर यतिभिर नियतेन्द्रियैः बरह्मभूतैर महाभागैर उपैतं बरह्मवादिभिः ।। ३-१४५-३० ।।

sanskrit

'And those souls, magnified by asceticism and intent on liberation, leading the life of Vanaprastha, with senses subdued and united with the Supreme Soul, were of high fortune, constantly reciting Vedic hymns.' ।। 3-145-30 ।।
