[य] धर्मज्ञॊ बलवाञ शूरः सद्यॊ राक्षसपुंगवः भक्तॊ ऽसमान औरसः पुत्रॊ भीम गृह्णातु मातरम ॥ ३-१४५-१ ॥
'Yudhishthira said, "O Bhima, let this mighty and heroic Rakshasa chief, your legitimate son, devoted to us, truthful, and versed in virtue, carry our mother (Draupadi) without delay."' ॥ 3-145-1 ॥
english translation
तव भीमबलेनाहम अतिभीम पराक्रम अक्षतः सह पाञ्चाल्या गच्छेयं गन्धमादनम ॥ ३-१४५-२ ॥
'And, O possessor of dreadful prowess, with the strength of your arms, I shall reach Gandhamadana unharmed, along with Panchali.' ॥ 3-145-2 ॥
english translation
भरातुर वचनम आज्ञाय भीमसेनॊ घतॊत्कचम आदिदेश नरव्याघ्रस तनयं शत्रुकर्शनम ॥ ३-१४५-३ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "Hearing the words of his brother, the mighty Bhimasena, that tiger among men, commanded his son, Ghatotkacha, the vanquisher of foes."' ॥ 3-145-3 ॥

दैदिम्बेय परिश्रान्ता तव मातापराजिता तवं च कामगमस तात बलवान वहतां खग ॥ ३-१४५-४ ॥
'O invincible son of Hidimva, thy mother has been greatly fatigued. You are strong and capable of traversing any distance. Therefore, O rover of the skies, carry her.' ॥ 3-145-4 ॥
english translation
सकन्धम आरॊप्य भद्रं ते मध्ये ऽसमाकं विहायसा गच्छ नीचकिया गत्या यथा चैनां न पीडयेः ॥ ३-१४५-५ ॥
'May prosperity attend you! Taking her upon your shoulders, you shall travel with us, choosing a path not too high, so that she may not be made uneasy.' ॥ 3-145-5 ॥
