तरयॊ वयं गमिष्यामॊ लघ्व आहारा यतव्रताः अहं च नकुलश चैव लॊमशश च महातपाः ।। ३-१४१-६ ।।

sanskrit

'We three shall go, eating lightly and observing our vows/restraints: myself, Nakula, and the great ascetic Lomasha.' ।। 3-141-6 ।।

english translation

tarayò vayaM gamiSyAmò laghva AhArA yatavratAH ahaM ca nakulaza caiva lòmazaza ca mahAtapAH || 3-141-6 ||

'Await my return with caution at the source of the Ganga, and protect Draupadi until I come back.' ।। 3-141-7 ।।

mamAgamanama AkAGkSana gaGgA davAre samAhitaH vaseha daraupadIM rakSana yAvadAgamanaM mama || 3-141-7 ||

'Bhima replied, 'O descendant of Bharata, though this noble princess is deeply afflicted by fatigue and sorrow, she proceeds with ease, filled with the hope of seeing the one with the white steeds (Arjuna).'' ।। 3-141-8 ।।

'Your dejection is already profound at not seeing the high-souled Arjuna, who never retreats from battle. O Bharata, it is needless to say that if you do not see me, Sahadeva, or Krishna, your sorrow will undoubtedly intensify.' ।। 3-141-9 ।।

tava cApya aratisa tIvrA vardhate tama apazyataH kiM punaH sahadevaM ca mAM ca kRSNAM ca bhArata || 3-141-9 ||
