अहं वहिष्ये पाञ्चालीं यत्र यत्र न शक्ष्यति इति मे वर्तते बुद्धिर मा राजन विमनॊ भव ॥ ३-१४१-१६ ॥
'I shall carry the daughter of Panchala wherever she finds it difficult to walk. O king, this is my firm decision.' ॥ 3-141-16 ॥

सुकुमारौ तथा वीरौ माद्री नन्दिकराव उभौ दुर्गे संतारयिष्यामि यद्य अशक्तौ भविष्यतः ॥ ३-१४१-१७ ॥
'Sukumarau and Veera, both sons of Nandikirava, if you become weak/unable, I will help you cross the difficult path/obstacles.' ॥ 3-141-17 ॥

एवं ते भाषमाणस्य बलं भीमाभिवर्धताम यस तवम उत्सहसे वॊढुं दरौपदीं विपुले ऽधवनि ॥ ३-१४१-१८ ॥
'While speaking thus, Bhima's strength continued to grow. Who are you who dares to carry/bear Draupadi on the vast/wide path?' ॥ 3-141-18 ॥

यमजौ चापि भद्रं ते नैतद अन्यत्र विद्यते बलं च ते यशश चैव धर्मः कीर्तिश च वर्धताम ॥ ३-१४१-१९ ॥
'May your strength grow, O Bhima, as you speak, and as you boldly take upon yourself the task of carrying the illustrious Panchali and these twins. Blessed be you! Such courage resides in no other. May your strength, fame, virtue, and renown multiply!' ॥ 3-141-19 ॥

यस तवम उत्सहसे नेतुं भरातरौ सह कृष्णया मा ते गलानिर महाबाहॊ मा च ते ऽसतु पराभवः ॥ ३-१४१-२० ॥
'O mighty-armed one, as you offer to carry Krishna and our brothers, may exhaustion and defeat never come to you!' ॥ 3-141-20 ॥
