तरिः सूयते कर्मणा वै परजेयं; तरयॊ युक्ता वाजपेयं वहन्ति अध्वर्यवस तरिसवनानि तन्वते; तरयॊ लॊकास तरीणि जयॊतींसि चाहुः ॥ ३-१३४-९ ॥
'Vandin said, "Three types of beings are created by actions; the three Vedas together uphold the Vajapeya sacrifice; at three distinct times, the Adhwaryus begin the sacrificial rites; three are the sacred words; and three are the divine lights."' ॥ 3-134-9 ॥
