संपीड्यमाना तु तदा सुजाता; विवर्धमानेन सुतेन कुक्षौ उवाच भर्तारम इदं रहॊगता; परसाद्य हीनं वसुना धनार्थिनी ।। ३-१३२-११ ।।

sanskrit

'Meanwhile, Sujātā, distressed by the child's condition in the womb and desiring wealth, sought to appease her husband, who had little fortune. She spoke to him in private, saying: Please, my dear, grant me your favor, for I am troubled by the lack of wealth.'' ।। 3-132-11 ।।

english translation

saMpIDyamAnA tu tadA sujAtA; vivardhamAnena sutena kukSau uvAca bhartArama idaM rahògatA; parasAdya hInaM vasunA dhanArthinI || 3-132-11 ||
