येनेमं वर्जयेथास तवं कर्मणा पक्षिसत्तम तद आचक्ष्व करिष्यामि न हि दास्ये कपॊतकम ।। ३-१३१-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'With the sole exception of this pigeon, which has come to me seeking my protection, I will gladly grant thee whatever thou mayest ask for. Tell me what I must do to ensure the safety of this bird, but on no condition shall I surrender it to thee.' ।। 3-131-21 ।।

english translation

yenemaM varjayethAsa tavaM karmaNA pakSisattama tada AcakSva kariSyAmi na hi dAsye kapòtakama || 3-131-21 ||
