अभिपत्याथ बाहुभ्यां परत्यगृह्णाद अमर्षितः मातङ्ग इव मातङ्गं परभिन्नकरटा मुखः ॥ ३-१२-५६ ॥
'Filled with rage, Bhima seized the Rakshasa in his grasp, much like a rutting elephant seizes another.' ॥ 3-12-56 ॥
english translation
abhipatyAtha bAhubhyAM paratyagRhNAda amarSitaH mAtaGga iva mAtaGgaM parabhinnakaraTA mukhaH ॥ 3-12-56 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतं चाप्य आथ ततॊ रक्षः परतिजग्राह वीर्यवान तम आक्षिपद भीमसेनॊ बलेन बलिनां वरः ॥ ३-१२-५७ ॥
'The powerful Rakshasa, in turn, grabbed Bhima, but the mighty Bhima, supreme in strength, violently hurled the Rakshasa down.' ॥ 3-12-57 ॥

taM cApya Atha tatò rakSaH paratijagrAha vIryavAna tama AkSipada bhImasenò balena balinAM varaH ॥ 3-12-57 ॥

'The sounds of their struggle, as they pressed each other’s hands, were terrifying, resembling the cracking of splintering bamboo.' ॥ 3-12-58 ॥

tayòra bhujaviniSpeSAda ubhayòra valinòsa tadA zabdaH samabhavada ghòrò veNusphòTa samò yudhi ॥ 3-12-58 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथैनम आक्षिप्य बलाद गृह्य मध्ये वृकॊदरः धूनयाम आस वेगेन वायुश चण्ड इव दरुमम ॥ ३-१२-५९ ॥
'Bhima then threw the Rakshasa to the ground, gripped him by the waist, and began to whirl him around as a fierce hurricane shakes a tree.' ॥ 3-12-59 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptस भीमेन परामृष्टॊ दुर्बलॊ बलिना रणे वयस्पन्दत यथाप्राणं विचकर्ष च पाण्डवम ॥ ३-१२-६० ॥
'Overpowered and exhausted, the Rakshasa, despite his trembling and weakness, continued to exert all his remaining strength against Bhima.' ॥ 3-12-60 ॥
