तम उग्रम आस्थाय तपश चरन्तं; शुश्राव रामश च जनार्दनश च तौ सर्ववृष्णिप्रवरौ स सैन्यौ; युधिष्ठिरं जग्मतुर आजमीढम ॥ ३-११८-१८ ॥
'While he was engaged in such severe penances, news reached both Balarama and Krishna that the king was undertaking the most austere forms of asceticism. Accompanied by their troops, these two leaders of the Vrishni tribe set out to visit Yudhishthira, who belonged to the Ajamidha lineage.' ॥ 3-118-18 ॥
