[वय] तद इन्द्रः सुरभी वाक्यं निशम्य भृशविस्मितः जीवितेनापि कौरव्य मेने ऽभयधिकम आत्मजम ॥ ३-१०-१७ ॥
'Vyasa continued, "Hearing these words from Suravi, Indra was profoundly moved and, O scion of the Kuru race, realized that a son is indeed more precious than life itself."' ॥ 3-10-17 ॥
