A king endowed with every virtue—even for the three worlds—is Ajātaśatru: righteous in nature, radiant like purified Jāmbūnada gold.

english translation

Foremost among all the Kurus by dharma, learning, and conduct—pleasing in appearance, long-armed—how is Yudhiṣṭhira, O Kṛṣṇa?

english translation

That Vṛkodara, whose vitality is said to equal ten thousand elephants and whose movement is swift as the wind—ever steadfast in resolve—remains dear to his brother and acts for his brother’s welfare.

english translation

He was the slayer of Kīcaka and his associates, O Madhusūdana; the heroic one who also subdued Hiḍimba and Baka—beings driven by ungoverned wrath.

english translation

In prowess he is comparable to Śakra; in speed, to the force of the wind; in anger, to Maheśvara. Bhīma is foremost among those who strike.
