अहं च तत्करिष्यामि भीमार्जुनयमैः सह । युधिष्ठिरनियोगेन दैवाच्च विधिनिर्मितात्॥५-८०-४६॥
“And I too will bring it to pass, together with Bhīma, Arjuna, and the twins—by Yudhiṣṭhira’s command, and also by what fate has shaped and ordained order has set.”
english translation
धार्तराष्ट्राः कालपक्वा न चेच्छृण्वन्ति मे वचः । शेष्यन्ते निहता भूमौ श्वशृगालादनीकृताः॥५-८०-४७॥
“The Dhārtarāṣṭras are ripe for the fruit of Time; if they will not heed my words, they shall lie slain upon the earth, made into sustenance for dogs and jackals.”
english translation
चलेद्धि हिमवाञ्शैलो मेदिनी शतधा भवेत् । द्यौः पतेच्च सनक्षत्रा न मे मोघं वचो भवेत्॥५-८०-४८॥
Indeed, the Himavān mountain might move; the earth might split into a hundred parts; the sky might fall with its stars—yet my word will not prove futile.
english translation
सत्यं ते प्रतिजानामि कृष्णे बाष्पो निगृह्यताम् । हतामित्राञ्श्रिया युक्तानचिराद्द्रक्ष्यसे पतीन्॥५-८०-४९॥
I promise you truly, O Kṛṣṇe—restrain your tears. Soon you will see your husbands endowed with prosperity, their adversaries subdued.
