सुता द्रुपदराजस्य वेदिमध्यात्समुत्थिता । धृष्टद्युम्नस्य भगिनी तव कृष्ण प्रिया सखी॥५-८०-२१॥
I am the daughter of King Drupada, arisen from the midst of the sacrificial altar; the sister of Dhṛṣṭadyumna; and, O Kṛṣṇa, your beloved friend.
english translation
आजमीढकुलं प्राप्ता स्नुषा पाण्डोर्महात्मनः । महिषी पाण्डुपुत्राणां पञ्चेन्द्रसमवर्चसाम्॥५-८०-२२॥
Having entered the line of Ājamīḍha, I became the daughter-in-law of the great-souled Pāṇḍu, and the chief queen of Pāṇḍu’s sons—whose splendor is comparable to that of the five Indras.
english translation
सुता मे पञ्चभिर्वीरैः पञ्च जाता महारथाः । अभिमन्युर्यथा कृष्ण तथा ते तव धर्मतः॥५-८०-२३॥
My daughter has borne five great chariot-warriors by five heroic men; and Abhimanyu, O Kṛṣṇa, is likewise yours—by the force of dharma and rightful relation.
english translation
साहं केशग्रहं प्राप्ता परिक्लिष्टा सभां गता । पश्यतां पाण्डुपुत्राणां त्वयि जीवति केशव॥५-८०-२४॥
I, seized by the hair and made to suffer, was brought into the assembly—while the sons of Pāṇḍu looked on, and while you, O Keśava, were alive.
english translation
जीवत्सु कौरवेयेषु पाञ्चालेष्वथ वृष्णिषु । दासीभूतास्मि पापानां सभामध्ये व्यवस्थिता॥५-८०-२५॥
While the Kauravas, the Pāñcālas, and the Vṛṣṇis were still alive, I was reduced to servitude by wrongdoers, placed in the midst of the assembly.
