All are masters of weapons; all are heroic; all have won great renown. They might renounce even sovereignty among the gods, but never victory. Peace, surely, would come only through the death of the two—or of Phalguna (Arjuna).

english translation

There is no one who can conquer Arjuna, nor anyone who can bring him down. How could his wrath be stilled, once it has risen against those of poor judgment?

english translation

Others too know the use of weapons; they are sometimes defeated and sometimes victorious. But of Phalguna (Arjuna) alone, tradition reports an unbroken record of victory.

english translation

Having summoned the Thirty-three (gods), he satisfied Agni in the Khāṇḍava forest; and he overcame all the Devas—of his defeat I know of none.

english translation

He whose charioteer is Hṛṣīkeśa (Kṛṣṇa), whose conduct and discipline are steady in engagement—his victory is assured, dear one, just as Indra’s victory is assured.
