Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “I ask you, Sañjaya, in the midst of the kings: what words did the resolute Dhanañjaya utter? He is a leader in the arts of battle, a great-souled man who cuts short the lives of the wicked.”

english translation

Sañjaya said: “Let Duryodhana hear these words that Arjuna spoke, ready for battle—words spoken by the great-souled Dhanañjaya with Yudhiṣṭhira’s consent, while Keśava listened.”

english translation

“Steadfast, knowing the strength of his own arms, and composed in Vāsudeva’s presence, the diademed warrior—ready for battle—said to me: ‘In the assembly, speak to Dhārtarāṣṭra in the midst of the Kurus.’”

english translation

When those kings have been assembled for the Pāṇḍavas’ strategic engagement, and while they too are listening, you should have that king—together with his ministers—hear in full the message spoken by me.

english translation

Just as all the gods attend upon the lord of the gods, the wielder of the thunderbolt, so too the Pāṇḍavas and the Sṛñjayas listened to the capable speech spoken by the diademed one (Arjuna).
