Do not foster anger here, for you have been afflicted in the great forest, O lord of kings, together with Draupadī and your high-minded brothers.

english translation

So too, O lord of kings, you will attain sovereignty, O Bhārata—just as Śakra attained it after subduing Vṛtra, O delight of the Kurus.

english translation

Nahuṣa, of corrupt conduct—hostile to brahmins and of sinful intent—was struck down by Agastya’s curse and remained ruined for long years.

english translation

In the same way, your ill-intentioned adversaries, O subduer of enemies, will swiftly go to ruin—Karna, Duryodhana, and the others.

english translation

Thereafter, O hero, you will enjoy this earth bounded by the ocean, together with your brothers and with Draupadī, O lord.
