Those devoted to warfare describe his chariot-division as vast—ocean-like in magnitude—like that of the gods in their legendary engagements.

english translation

O king, in my assessment he is devoted to kṣatriya-dharma and is regarded as an ‘ardha-ratha’, a chariot-warrior of middle rank. He is the son of Dhṛṣṭadyumna, and because of his youth he has not yet undergone great exertions.

english translation

Dhṛṣṭaketu, the heroic son of Śiśupāla—the king of Cedi—is a mahā-ratha and a great archer; he is indeed a kinsman of the Pāṇḍavas.

english translation

O Bhārata, this valiant lord of Cedi, together with his son—both mahā-rathas—will undertake a great deed that is difficult to accomplish.

english translation

Parapuraṃjaya is, in my view, devoted to kṣatriya-dharma. O best of kings, Kṣatradeva on the Pāṇḍavas’ side is an excellent chariot-warrior; and Jayanta, Amitaujas, and Satyajit are mahā-rathas.
