Bhīṣma said: O ruler of men, that Śakuni—your maternal uncle—stands there as a lone chariot-warrior; having become entangled in enmity with the Pāṇḍavas, he will fight—of this there is no doubt.

english translation

His troops are hard to withstand and do not retreat in battle; they are mostly equipped with unusual weapons and are as swift as the wind.

english translation

Droṇa’s son, a great archer surpassing all bowmen, is a versatile fighter in battle, steadfast in his weapon-systems, and a mahāratha.

english translation

For this warrior, O great king, just as for the wielder of the Gāṇḍīva, the arrows released from the bow go forth in unbroken succession.

english translation

I cannot adequately recount this hero, the foremost of chariot-warriors. If he so desired, this man of great renown could even burn the three worlds to ashes.
