As I sought to discern your influence, manly resolve, and judgment, I spoke to offer reassurance—like a strong man encouraging one who is weak.

english translation

If you understand this, and if what I say is true, then compose yourself into calmness and rise for victory, Saṃjaya.

english translation

We possess a great reserve of treasure, unknown to you. I know of it—no one else does—and I will secure it for you.

english translation

You have not merely hundreds, but more, of well-wishers, Saṃjaya—heroic men who endure both pleasure and hardship, worthy of honor, and not inclined to withdraw.

english translation

Such aides are indeed what a man who seeks to thrive requires—ministers who, even when he is only slightly rising, lift him further, and who are capable of constraining adversaries.
