english translation

english translation
By a resolute man—often wronged in this world and inwardly scorched by indignation—with the intent to overcome his enemies.
english translation
Either he relinquishes his own life, or he decisively casts down his foes; by any other course, how could peace ever come to him?
english translation
Here in the world, the prudent person seeks only a small measure of what is unpleasant. For one whose share of what is pleasant is small, it is certain that his share of what is unpleasant will also be small.
