चुक्रोध च दशग्रीवोबभौहृष्टश्चराघवः । विषण्णवदनास्सर्वेराक्षसादीनचेतसः । विद्रवन्तिततस्सर्वेभयवित्रस्तचेतसः ॥ ६-९८-३६
The ten headed Ravana became enraged. Raghava was glad. All the Rakshasas became dull and piteous with sad faces. Out of fear they ran. ॥ 6-98-36॥

Having thrown down to the ground that Mahodara, looking like a part of a huge mountain lying shattered, the invincible Sugriva shone in glory in the battle-field like the sun shines with its rays. ॥ 6-98-37॥

Thereafter, Suras, Siddhas, Yakshas of heaven and all beings on the land, great selves who were gazing at the battle felt highly delighted seeing the victory of the Vanara king in the forefront of the battlefield. ॥ 6-98-38॥
