दुद्रुवुर्भहुधाभीताराक्षसाश्शतशोदिशः | त्यक्त्वाप्रहरणान्सर्वेपट्टसासिपरश्वधान् || ६-९१-८१

All Rakshasas feared and panic stricken fled in hundreds, in groups in all directions leaving their sharp edged spears, swords, and axes. [6-91-81]

Pained by Vanaras, some fearful entered Lanka, few had fallen in the ocean and some sought refuge in the mountain. [6-91-82]

Indrajith was lying, having fallen on the ground, and not even one of the thousands of Rakshasas was present there to see. [6-91-83]

Just as Sun rays go away as soon as the Sun sets in the evening, the Rakshasas also went in all directions seeing Indrajit fallen. [6-91-84]

Thrown asunder and dead, that long-armed Indrajit looked like the sun whose rays have cooled down and like the fire which is extinguished. [6-91-85]
