प्रशान्तपीडाबहुलोविनष्टारिःप्रहर्षवान् । बभूवलोकःपतितेराक्षसेन्द्रसुतोतदा ॥ ६-९१-८६
Then many were at peace and rejoiced in the world, being relieved, when Ravana's son dropped dead. [6-91-86]

हर्षं च शक्रोभगवान् सहसर्वैर्महर्षिभिः । जगामनिहतेतस्मिन्राक्षसेपापकर्मणि ॥ ६-९१-८७
Glorious Rakshasa of sinful deeds having been killed, all including great sages and Indra felt rejoiced. [6-91-87]

आकाशेचापिदेवानांशुश्रुवेदुन्दुभिस्वनः । नृत्यद्भिरप्सरोभिश्चगन्धर्वैश्चमहात्मभिः ॥ ६-९१-८८
In heaven also, sounds of drums of Gandharvas, great souls and dance of Apsaras were heard. [6-91-88]

ववर्षुःपुष्पवर्षाणितदद्भुतमिवाभवत् । प्रशशंसुर्हतेतस्मिन्राक्षसेक्रूरकर्मणि ॥ ६-९१-८९
With cruel minded Rakshasa killed, a deluge of flowers rained along with showers of praises. It was a wonderful scene. [6-91-89]

शुद्धाआपोनभश्चैवजहृषुर्देवदानवाः । आजग्मुःपतितेतस्मिन्सर्वलोकभयावहे ॥ ६-९१-९०
As the terror of all worlds had fallen and the waters and the sky became clear, Devas and Danavas rejoiced and came there. [6-91-90]
