सृजन्तौ रुधिरं चोष्णं जलं प्रस्रवणाविव । शरवर्षं ततो घोरं मुञ्चतोर्भीमनिःस्वनम् ॥ ६-८९-२६

सासारयोरिवाकाशे नीलयोः कालेमेघयोः । तयोरथ महान् कालो व्यतीयाद्युध्यमानयोः ॥ ६-८९-२७

न च तौ युद्धवैमुख्यं श्रमं चाप्युपजग्मतुः । अस्त्राण्यस्त्रविदां श्रेष्ठौ दर्शयन्त् पुनः पुनः ॥ ६-८९-२८
- and did not turn back from the battlefield or experienced any fatigue. Both of them, the best warriors, displaying their weapons again and again looking . - [6-89-28]

शरानुच्चावचाकारानन्तरिक्षे बबन्धतुः । व्यपेतदोषमस्यन्तौ लघु चित्रं च सुष्ठु च ॥ ६-८९-२९

उभौ तु तुमुलं घोरं चक्रतुर्नरराक्षसौ । तयोः पृथक् पृथग्भीमः शुश्रुवे तुमुलः स्वनः ॥ ६-८९-३०
- both the man and the Rakshasa carried on a tumultuous and terrific war. Their terrific and tumultuous sound could be heard one by one repeatedly. [6-89-30]
