सृजन्तौ रुधिरं चोष्णं जलं प्रस्रवणाविव । शरवर्षं ततो घोरं मुञ्चतोर्भीमनिःस्वनम् ॥ ६-८९-२६
- started emitting hot blood from their body like waterfalls gushing out. Causing terrific sound, the dreadful rain of arrows set free . - ॥ 6-89-26॥

sRjantau rudhiraM coSNaM jalaM prasravaNAviva । zaravarSaM tato ghoraM muJcatorbhImaniHsvanam ॥ 6-89-26
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसासारयोरिवाकाशे नीलयोः कालेमेघयोः । तयोरथ महान् कालो व्यतीयाद्युध्यमानयोः ॥ ६-८९-२७
- from the bows of both (Lakshmana and Indrajith) just as dark clouds rain from the sky at the time of dissolution. Both of them fought for long . - ॥ 6-89-27॥

sAsArayorivAkAze nIlayoH kAlemeghayoH । tayoratha mahAn kAlo vyatIyAdyudhyamAnayoH ॥ 6-89-27
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन च तौ युद्धवैमुख्यं श्रमं चाप्युपजग्मतुः । अस्त्राण्यस्त्रविदां श्रेष्ठौ दर्शयन्त् पुनः पुनः ॥ ६-८९-२८
- and did not turn back from the battlefield or experienced any fatigue. Both of them, the best warriors, displaying their weapons again and again looking . - ॥ 6-89-28॥

na ca tau yuddhavaimukhyaM zramaM cApyupajagmatuH । astrANyastravidAM zreSThau darzayant punaH punaH ॥ 6-89-28
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशरानुच्चावचाकारानन्तरिक्षे बबन्धतुः । व्यपेतदोषमस्यन्तौ लघु चित्रं च सुष्ठु च ॥ ६-८९-२९
- at the sky covered it with a network of arrows. Loosing their arrows faultlessly, gracefully and easily in a wonderful way - ॥ 6-89-29॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptउभौ तु तुमुलं घोरं चक्रतुर्नरराक्षसौ । तयोः पृथक् पृथग्भीमः शुश्रुवे तुमुलः स्वनः ॥ ६-८९-३०
- both the man and the Rakshasa carried on a tumultuous and terrific war. Their terrific and tumultuous sound could be heard one by one repeatedly. ॥ 6-89-30॥

ubhau tu tumulaM ghoraM cakraturnararAkSasau । tayoH pRthak pRthagbhImaH zuzruve tumulaH svanaH ॥ 6-89-30
