यस्यार्थास्तस्य मित्राणि यस्यार्थास्तस्य बान्धवः | यस्यार्थाः स पुमांल्लोके यस्यार्थाः स च पण्डितः || ६-८३-३५

sanskrit

"Friends gather round him in whom riches abide. Relations stand by him who has wealth. He is considered manly in whom wealth abides, and he is learned who has wealth." [6-83-35]

english translation

yasyArthAstasya mitrANi yasyArthAstasya bAndhavaH | yasyArthAH sa pumAMlloke yasyArthAH sa ca paNDitaH || 6-83-35
