सोऽयमर्थं परित्यज्य सुखकामः सुखैधितः | पापमारभते कर्तुं तथा दोषः प्रवर्तते || ६-८३-३४

sanskrit

"Such a man, brought up by comforts, renouncing wealth (within easy reach) and seeking comfort, proceeds to commit sinful act and then evil (in the form of punishment) follows from it." [6-83-34]

english translation

so'yamarthaM parityajya sukhakAmaH sukhaidhitaH | pApamArabhate kartuM tathA doSaH pravartate || 6-83-34
