स तु तेन प्रहरेण विह्वलो भृशपीडितः । निपपात तदा कुम्भो गतार्चिरिव पावकः ॥ ६-७६-९१
By the blow of Sugriva, that Kumbha was pained severely and overcome by fear he fell like fire which has lost its glow. ॥ 6-76-91॥

Struck by the fist of Sugriva, the Rakshasa fell just as the glowing planet endowed with brightness accidentally fell from the sky. ॥ 6-76-92॥
