स तंदृष्टवामहात्मानंराघवस्तुविसिस्मिये । वानरान् सान्त्वयित्वा च विभीषणमुवाच ह ॥ ६-७१-११
Raghava the great, seeing him (Atikaya), was amazed, reassured by the Vanaras, and spoke to Vibheeshana. [6-71-11]
english translation
कोऽसौपर्वतसङ्काशोधनुष्मान्हरिलोचनः । युक्तेहयसहस्रेणविशालेस्यन्दनेस्थितः ॥ ६-७१-१२
"Who is he, the yelloweyed, resembling a mountain, seated in the broad chariot drawn by a thousand horses?" [6-71-12]
english translation
य एषनिशितैश्शूलैस्सुतीक्णैःप्रासमुद्गरैः । अर्चिष्मद्भिर्वृतोभातिभूतैरिवमहेश्वरः ॥ ६-७१-१३
"Who is he in the midst, with sharp tridents and shining spears, like Maheswara surrounded by beings?" [6-71-13]
english translation
कालजिह्वाप्रकाशाभिर्यएषोऽतिविराजते । आवृतोरथशक्तीभिर्विद्युद्भिरिवतोयदः ॥ ६-७१-१४
"Who is he, gleaming like the tongues of time spirit (Kala spirit), with flashes of javelins, encircled with lightning and looking like a cloud shining very bright?" [6-71-14]
english translation
धनूंषिचास्यसज्जानिहेमपृष्ठानिसर्वशः । शोभयन्तिरथश्रेष्ठंशक्रचापमिवाम्बरम् ॥ ६-७१-१५
"His bows decorated with gold on the back in his excellent chariot are shining on all sides like a rainbow in the sky." [6-71-15]
