सारथेर्भहुशश्चास्यसङ्ग्राममवगाहतः । प्रतोदोन्यपतद्धस्तात्सूतस्यहयसादिनः ॥ ६-५७-४०

The goad fell several times then from the hand of the charioteer, himself a Suta even though skilled in controlling the horses, as he entered the battle-field. ॥ 6-57-40॥
