आदित्यमभिवाश्यन्तिजनयन्तोमहद्भयम् । दीनादीनस्वराःघोरानप्रशस्तामृगद्विजाः ॥ ६-४१-१६
"The desperate inauspicious sounds of ominous beasts crying pitifully facing the sun are causing great fear. ॥ 6-41-16॥

"Like at the time of universal dissolution, the moon is not radiant, being surrounded by black and red halo at night and is tormenting. ॥ 6-41-17॥

"O, Lakshmana! In the disk of the sun, a small halo with a black mark, fiery, shorn of its radiance and of coppery hue is seen." ॥ 6-41-18॥

"O, Lakshmana! The stars are not appearing as they should be duly foretelling their intention to hasten a final dissolution of the world. ॥ 6-41-19॥
