कैकेय्यासहिताःसर्वानन्दिग्राममुपागमन् । द्विजातिमुख्यैर्धर्मात्माश्रेणीमुख्यैस्सनैगमैः ॥ ६-१३०-१६
All of them, including Kaikeyi, reached Nandigrama. Accompanied by the foremost of Brahmanas, leaders of the guilds of traders and artisans, including the merchants and counsellors . - ॥ 6-130-16॥

- who was well-versed with the secret of virtue, placing the wooden sandals of his brother (Rama) on his head, took the white parasol (intended for Rama) which was adorned with white garlands . - ॥ 6-130-18॥

- and two white whisks decorated with gold, eminently worthy of kings. He (Bharata) was emaciated due to long fasting, was desperate, wearing bark fabric and skin of antelope. ॥ 6-130-19॥
