पादुकेतेपुरस्कृत्यप्रशासन्तंवसुन्धराम् । चातुर्वर्णस्यलोकस्यत्रातारंमहतोभयात् ॥ ६-१२८-३२
- ruling the earth after placing the wooden sandals before him, protecting the people belonging to all the four grades (viz. Brahmans Kshatriyas, Vaisyas and Shudras) from all peril . - ॥ 6-128-32॥
