सर्वे च देवा मुदिताः परहृष्टा; महर्षयश चेन्द्रम अभिष्टुवन्तः सर्वांश च दैत्यांस तवरिताः समेत्य; जघ्नुः सुरा वृत्रवधाभितप्तान ।। ३-९९-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Filled with joy, the celestials and the great Rishis began to sing the praises of Indra with great enthusiasm. Gathering together, the gods swiftly set upon the Danavas, who were demoralized by the loss of their leader, and began to vanquish them.' ।। 3-99-16 ।।

english translation

sarve ca devA muditAH parahRSTA; maharSayaza cendrama abhiSTuvantaH sarvAMza ca daityAMsa tavaritAH sametya; jaghnuH surA vRtravadhAbhitaptAna || 3-99-16 ||
