कृताञ्जलींस तु तान सर्वान परमेष्ठी उवाच ह विदितं मे सुराः सर्वं यद वः कार्यं चिकीर्षितम ॥ ३-९८-६ ॥
'The Supreme Being (Parameshti) said to all those who stood with folded hands (Kritanjalins): 'O Gods, I know everything about the task that you wish to accomplish.'' ॥ 3-98-6 ॥
english translation
तम उपायं परवक्ष्यामि यथा वृत्रं वधिष्यथ दधीच इति विख्यातॊ महान ऋषिर उदारधीः ॥ ३-९८-७ ॥
'I am aware of all your intentions, O gods. I will now reveal to you the means by which you can slay Vritra. There exists a high-souled and illustrious Rishi named Dadhicha.' ॥ 3-98-7 ॥
english translation
तं गत्वा सहिताः सर्वे वरं वै संप्रयाचत स वॊ दास्यति धर्मात्मा सुप्रीतेनान्तरात्मना ॥ ३-९८-८ ॥
'Together, go to him and ask for a boon. That virtuous Rishi, with a heart full of goodwill, will surely grant you your request.' ॥ 3-98-8 ॥
english translation
स वाच्यः सहितैः सर्वैर भवद्भिर जयकाङ्क्षिभिः सवान्य अस्थीनि परयच्छेति तरैलॊक्यस्य हिताय वै स शरीरं समुत्सृज्य सवान्य अस्थीनि परदास्यति ॥ ३-९८-९ ॥
'He should be approached by all of you together, who desire victory, and asked to give up his bones for the welfare of the three worlds. He will give up his body and donate his bones.' ॥ 3-98-9 ॥
english translation
तस्यास्थिभिर महाघॊरं वज्रं संभ्रियतां दृढम महच छत्रुहनं तीक्ष्णं षड अश्रं भीमनिस्वनम ॥ ३-९८-१० ॥
'With these bones, create a fierce and formidable weapon known as the Vajra, endowed with six edges, a fearsome roar, and the power to vanquish even the mightiest of foes.' ॥ 3-98-10 ॥
