[अ] तुष्टॊ ऽहम अस्मि कल्याणि तववृत्तेन शॊभने विचारणाम अपत्ये तु तव वक्ष्यामि तां शृणु ॥ ३-९७-१८ ॥
'Agastya replied to her, saying, "O blessed and radiant one, your virtuous conduct has greatly pleased me. Listen to the proposal I wish to make regarding your desire for a child."' ॥ 3-97-18 ॥
