गङ्गा दवारम अथागम्य भगवान ऋषिसत्तमः उग्रम आतिष्ठत तपः सह पत्न्यानुकूलया ॥ ३-९५-११ ॥

'Afterward, the illustrious sage, the best among the Rishis, proceeded to Gangadwara, where he began to practice the most rigorous penances alongside his supportive wife.' ॥ 3-95-11 ॥

सा परीत्या बहुमानाच च पतिं पर्यचरत तदा अगस्त्यश च परां परीतिं भार्यायाम अकरॊत परभुः ॥ ३-९५-१२ ॥

'Lopamudra, filled with deep respect for her husband, began to serve him with great pleasure. In turn, the exalted Agastya also expressed profound love for his wife.' ॥ 3-95-12 ॥

'Pleased with the girl for her devoted service, purity, self-control, grace, and beauty, he summoned her for their marital union.' ॥ 3-95-14 ॥

ततः सा पराञ्जलिर भूत्वा लज्जमानेव भामिनी तदा स परणयं वाक्यं भगवन्तम अथाब्रवीत ॥ ३-९५-१५ ॥

'Then, with hands folded in reverence and feeling shy, the lady spoke to the blessed one in gentle words.' ॥ 3-95-15 ॥
