गङ्गा दवारम अथागम्य भगवान ऋषिसत्तमः उग्रम आतिष्ठत तपः सह पत्न्यानुकूलया ॥ ३-९५-११ ॥

'Afterward, the illustrious sage, the best among the Rishis, proceeded to Gangadwara, where he began to practice the most rigorous penances alongside his supportive wife.' ।। 3-95-11 ।।
