अमृताद उत्थितं रौद्रं तल लब्धं सव्यसाचिना तत स मन्त्रं स संहारं स परायश्चित्तमङ्गलम ॥ ३-८९-११ ॥
'That which arose from nectar, yet terrible, Was obtained by Savyasachin (Arjuna), Along with the mantra, the method of use, And the auspicious expiation.' ॥ 3-89-11 ॥
english translation
वज्रं चान्यानि चास्त्राणि दण्डादीनि युधिष्ठिर यमात कुबेराद वरुणाद इन्द्राच च कुरुनन्दन अस्त्राण्य अधीतवान पार्थॊ दिव्यान्य अमितविक्रमः ॥ ३-८९-१२ ॥
'And, O Yudhishthira, Arjuna, of boundless might, has also obtained the Vajras, Dandas, and other celestial weapons from Yama, Kuvera, Varuna, and Indra, O son of the Kuru race! ' ॥ 3-89-12 ॥
english translation
विश्वावसॊर च तनयाद गीतं नृत्तं च साम च वादित्रं च यथान्यायं परत्यविन्दद यथाविधि ॥ ३-८९-१३ ॥
'Furthermore, he has mastered both vocal and instrumental music, as well as dance and the proper recitation of the Saman (Veda), taught by the son of Vishwavasu.' ॥ 3-89-13 ॥

एवं कृतास्त्रः कौन्तेयॊ गान्धर्वं वेदम आप्तवान सुखं वसति बीभत्सुर अनुजस्यानुजस तव ॥ ३-८९-१४ ॥
'And having acquired weapons and mastered the Gandharva Veda, your third brother Vibhatsu now lives joyfully in heaven.' ॥ 3-89-14 ॥

यदर्थं मां सुरश्रेष्ठ इदं वचनम अब्रवीत तच च ते कथयिष्यामि युधिष्ठिर निबॊध मे ॥ ३-८९-१५ ॥
'Listen, O Yudhishthira, for I shall convey to you the message of that foremost of celestials. He commanded me, saying;' ॥ 3-89-15 ॥
