सुराष्ट्रेष्व अपि वक्ष्यामि पुण्यान्य आयतनानि च आश्रमान सरितः शैलान सरांसि च नराधिप ॥ ३-८६-१६ ॥
'I shall now, O lord of men, describe the sacred places, asylums, rivers, and lakes of the Surashtra region!' ॥ 3-86-16 ॥
english translation
surASTreSva api vakSyAmi puNyAnya AyatanAni ca AzramAna saritaH zailAna sarAMsi ca narAdhipa ॥ 3-86-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचमसॊन्मज्जनं विप्रास तत्रापि कथयन्त्य उत परभासं चॊदधौ तीर्थं तरिदशानां युधिष्ठिर ॥ ३-८६-१७ ॥
'O Yudhishthira, the Brahmanas state that on the sea coast lies Chamasodbheda, along with Prabhasa, a tirtha highly esteemed by the gods.' ॥ 3-86-17 ॥
english translation
camasònmajjanaM viprAsa tatrApi kathayantya uta parabhAsaM còdadhau tIrthaM taridazAnAM yudhiSThira ॥ 3-86-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र पिण्डारकं नाम तापसाचरितं शुभम उज्जयन्तश च शिखरी कषिप्रं सिद्धिकरॊ महान ॥ ३-८६-१८ ॥
'There is also the tirtha called Pindaraka, frequented by ascetics and known for bestowing great merit. In that region stands a mighty hill named Ujjayanta, which leads to swift success.' ॥ 3-86-18 ॥
english translation
tatra piNDArakaM nAma tApasAcaritaM zubhama ujjayantaza ca zikharI kaSipraM siddhikarò mahAna ॥ 3-86-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र देवर्षिवर्येण नारदेनानुकीर्तितः पुराणः शरूयते शलॊकस तं निबॊध युधिष्ठिर ॥ ३-८६-१९ ॥
'Concerning it, the celestial sage Narada, of great wisdom, has recited an ancient shloka. Do listen to it, O Yudhishthira!' ॥ 3-86-19 ॥

tatra devarSivaryeNa nAradenAnukIrtitaH purANaH zarUyate zalòkasa taM nibòdha yudhiSThira ॥ 3-86-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुण्ये गिरौ सुराष्ट्रेषु मृगपक्षिनिषेविते उज्जयन्ते सम तप्ताङ्गॊ नाकपृष्ठे महीयते ॥ ३-८६-२० ॥
'By undertaking austerities on the sacred hill of Ujjayanta in Surashtra, which is rich in birds and animals, a person is esteemed in heaven.' ॥ 3-86-20 ॥
