पुण्या दवारवती तत्र यत्रास्ते मधुसूदनः साक्षाद देवः पुराणॊ ऽसौ स हि धर्मः सनातनः ।। ३-८६-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'There lies Dwaravati, a place of great merit, where dwells the slayer of Madhu, the Ancient One in embodied form, and the embodiment of eternal virtue.' ।। 3-86-21 ।।

english translation

puNyA davAravatI tatra yatrAste madhusUdanaH sAkSAda devaH purANò 'sau sa hi dharmaH sanAtanaH || 3-86-21 ||

ये च वेदविदॊ विप्रा ये चाध्यात्मविदॊ जनाः ते वदन्ति महात्मानं कृष्णं धर्मं सनातनम ।। ३-८६-२२ ।।

'The Brahmanas well-versed in the Vedas and those knowledgeable in the philosophy of the soul proclaim that the illustrious Krishna is the personification of eternal virtue.' ।। 3-86-22 ।।

english translation

ye ca vedavidò viprA ye cAdhyAtmavidò janAH te vadanti mahAtmAnaM kRSNaM dharmaM sanAtanama || 3-86-22 ||

पवित्राणां हि गॊविन्दः पवित्रं परम उच्यते पुण्यानाम अपि पुण्यॊ ऽसौ मङ्गलानां च मङ्गलम ।। ३-८६-२३ ।।

'Govinda is regarded as the purest among all that is pure, the most righteous among the righteous, and the most auspicious among the auspicious. ' ।। 3-86-23 ।।

pavitrANAM hi gòvindaH pavitraM parama ucyate puNyAnAma api puNyò 'sau maGgalAnAM ca maGgalama || 3-86-23 ||

'In all three worlds, He, with eyes like lotus leaves, is the God of gods and is eternal. He embodies the pure soul and the active principle of life, is the Supreme Brahman, and is the lord of all. The slayer of Madhu, Hari of inconceivable essence, dwells there!' ।। 3-86-24 ।।

tarailòkyaM puNDarIkAkSò devadevaH sanAtanaH Aste harira acintyAtmA tatraiva madhusUdanaH || 3-86-24 ||
