शक्तॊ ऽयम इत्य अतॊ मत्वा मया संप्रेषितॊ ऽरजुनः इन्द्राद अनवरः शक्तः सुरसूनुः सुराधिपम दरष्टुम अस्त्राणि चादातुम इन्द्राद इति विवासितः ।। ३-८४-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Recognizing his exceptional ability, I have sent him on this mission. He is not inferior to Indra and fully capable of the task. I have dispatched that son of a god to meet the lord of the celestials and obtain weapons from him.' ।। 3-84-6 ।।

english translation

zaktò 'yama itya atò matvA mayA saMpreSitò 'rajunaH indrAda anavaraH zaktaH surasUnuH surAdhipama daraSTuma astrANi cAdAtuma indrAda iti vivAsitaH || 3-84-6 ||

'Bhishma and Drona are Atirathas. Kripa and the son of Drona are formidable; these mighty warriors have been appointed by Dhritarashtra's son to lead his army. All of them are well-versed in the Vedas, courageous, and proficient in the use of every weapon.' ।। 3-84-7 ।।
