तं स कृष्णानिलॊद्धूतॊ दिव्यास्त्रजलदॊ महान शवेतवाजिबलाका भृद गाण्डीवेन्द्रायुधॊज्ज्वलः ॥ ३-८४-११ ॥
'Against him, the great Arjuna, propelled by Krishna, Like a massive cloud bearing divine weapons, With his white steeds as herons, Shining with his bow Gandiva as Indra's weapon.' ॥ 3-84-11 ॥
english translation
सततं शरधाराभिः परदीप्तं कर्ण पावकम उदीर्णॊ ऽरजुन मेघॊ ऽयं शमयिष्यति संयुगे ॥ ३-८४-१२ ॥
'He alone is capable of extinguishing the blazing fire that is Karna, unleashing arrowy showers with unwavering steadiness.' ॥ 3-84-12 ॥
english translation
स साक्षाद एव सर्वाणि शक्रात परपुरंजयः दिव्यान्य अस्त्राणि बीभत्सुस तत्त्वतः परतिपत्स्यते ॥ ३-८४-१३ ॥
'That conqueror of enemy strongholds, Vibhatsu, will undoubtedly receive all the celestial weapons in their fullness and vitality from Indra himself.' ॥ 3-84-13 ॥
english translation
अलं स तेषां सर्वेषाम इति मे धीयते मतिः नास्ति तव अतिक्रिया तस्य रणे ऽरीणां परतिक्रिया ॥ ३-८४-१४ ॥
'I believe he stands alone as equal to them all. Otherwise, it would be impossible for us to defeat those formidable foes who have achieved great success in all their endeavors.' ॥ 3-84-14 ॥

तं वयं पाण्डवं सर्वे गृहीतास्त्रं धनंजयम दरष्टारॊ न हि बीभत्सुर भारम उद्यम्य सीदति ॥ ३-८४-१५ ॥
'We shall witness Arjuna, the vanquisher of foes, fully equipped with celestial weapons. For Vibhatsu, once he undertakes a task, never falters under its weight.' ॥ 3-84-15 ॥
