निसृष्ट इव कालेन युगान्तज्वलनॊ यथा मम सैन्यमयं कक्षं परधक्ष्यति न संशयः ॥ ३-८४-१० ॥
'Urged on by the sons of Dhritarashtra, just as the wind drives the fire, Karna, akin to the all-consuming fire sent by Death at the end of the Yuga, will undoubtedly devour my troops as if they were mere heaps of straw.' ॥ 3-84-10 ॥
