भावितैः कारणैः पूर्वम आस्तिक्याच छरुति दर्शनात पराप्यन्ते तानि तीर्थानि सद्भिः शिष्टानुदर्शिभिः ॥ ३-८३-९१ ॥
'Men of piety and learning, endowed with purified senses, faith in the Divine, and knowledge of the Vedas, are able to visit these tirthas.' ॥ 3-83-91 ॥
english translation
नाव्रतॊ नाकृतात्मा च नाशुचिर न च तस्करः सनाति तीर्थेषु कौरव्य न च वक्रमतिर नरः ॥ ३-८३-९२ ॥
'However, O Kauravya, those who do not observe vows, lack self-control, are impure, engage in theft, or harbor deceitful thoughts do not bathe in the tirthas. ' ॥ 3-83-92 ॥
english translation
तवया तु सम्यग्वृत्तेन नित्यं धर्मार्थदर्शिना पितरस तारितास तात सर्वे च परपिता महाः ॥ ३-८३-९३ ॥
'O dear one, by your proper conduct and constant vision of dharma and purpose, You have helped all the ancestors and great-grandfathers cross over.' ॥ 3-83-93 ॥

पिता मह पुरॊगाश च देवाः सर्षिगणा नृप तव धर्मेण धर्मज्ञ नित्यम एवाभितॊषिताः ॥ ३-८३-९४ ॥
'O king, knower of dharma, the forefathers led by Pitamaha (Brahma), and all the gods along with the groups of sages, Are always greatly pleased by your righteousness.' ॥ 3-83-94 ॥
english translation
अवाप्स्यसि च लॊकान वै वसूनां वासवॊपम कीर्तिं च महतीं भीष्म पराप्स्यसे भुवि शाश्वतीम ॥ ३-८३-९५ ॥
'You, who resemble Vasava, O Bhishma, will attain the realm of the Vasus and gain eternal fame on earth!' ॥ 3-83-95 ॥
