महर्षीणाम इदं गुह्यं सर्पपापप्रमॊचनम अधीत्य दविजमध्ये च निर्मलत्वम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८३-८६ ॥
'This is the secret of the great sages, releasing one from all sins. By studying this among the twice-born, one attains purity.' ॥ 3-83-86 ॥
english translation
यश चेदं शृणुयान नित्यं तीर्थपुण्यं सदा शुचिः जातीः स समरते बह्वीर नाकपृष्ठे च मॊदते ॥ ३-८३-८७ ॥
'One who listens to this regularly, always pure with the merit of pilgrimage, Remembers many births and rejoices in the highest heaven.' ॥ 3-83-87 ॥
english translation
गम्यान्य अपि च तीर्थानि कीर्तितान्य अगमानि च मनसा तानि गच्छेत सर्वतीर्थसमीक्षया ॥ ३-८३-८८ ॥
'This description of the tirthas is auspicious, heavenly, and sacred; ever blessed, it vanquishes one's enemies. As the foremost of all teachings, it sharpens the intellect.' ॥ 3-83-88 ॥

एतानि वसुभिः साध्यैर आदित्यैर मरुद अश्विभिः ऋषिभिर देवकल्पैश च शरितानि सुकृतैषिभिः ॥ ३-८३-८९ ॥
'Desiring to attain merit, the Vasus, Siddhas, Adityas, Maruts, Ashvins, and sages akin to celestial beings all bathed in these tirthas.' ॥ 3-83-89 ॥

एवं तवम अपि कौरव्य विधिनानेन सुव्रत वरज तीर्थानि नियतः पुण्यं पुण्येन वर्धते ॥ ३-८३-९० ॥
'Therefore, O descendant of the Kuru race, you too should visit these tirthas, following the principles I have outlined. With controlled senses and steadfast vows, increase your merit.' ॥ 3-83-90 ॥
