इदं सत्यं दविजातीनां साधूनाम आत्मजस्य च सुहृदां च जपेत कर्णे शिष्यस्यानुगतस्य च ॥ ३-८३-८४ ॥

sanskrit

'This truth should be whispered into the ear of twice-born (Brahmins), the virtuous, one's own child, And to friends, disciples, and followers.' ॥ 3-83-84 ॥

english translation

idaM satyaM davijAtInAM sAdhUnAma Atmajasya ca suhRdAM ca japeta karNe ziSyasyAnugatasya ca ॥ 3-83-84 ॥
